Auburn, CA is the outdoors capital of the US, sitting along the American River Canyon, with some of California's best kayaking, mountain biking, and hiking. What better way to wrap up a day on the river than with a crisp cold West Coast pale ale, brewed with some of our favorite modern hops: Citra, Mosaic, Strata, and Simcoe.

Can dated 04/12/21 "No Doors" into an imperial nonic pint.
L: Vibrant golden with 1+ finger of white medium-density head with good retention and left spotted lacing.
S: West Coast nose, plenty of citrus and pine, dank undertones. Hints of watermelon, which I assume is from the Simcoe.
T: Follows the nose very well. Finishes with moderate bitterness and hint of acidity, bitterness lingers pleasantly.
F: Low-medium bodied with medium carbonation, dances on the tongue with subtlety, crisp and slick on the swallow.
O: Really nice APA, with more traditional West Coast flavor profile. I'd get it far more frequently at a better price point (single 16oz can = $5.80, 4pk = $18).
