Man I am just cranking out the reviews of beers that have no reviews yet. Yet another beer consumed December 2020 and there still is no review for it in BA.
Pours that dark golden color, good clarity, 2/5" white head. The aroma had a slightly different hoppiness, they didn't go with the usual one or more of the following: Galaxy/Citra/Mosaic, but instead went Cashmere/Lotus/Galaxy, ah shit, Galaxy is still there, some familiarity. There is a weird hodgepodge of grapefruit and lemon rind, pineapple, mint oil. Its differernt, and not bad, but also not even in Moonraker's top two tiers of aroma bangers.
The taste went in a sweeter direction than anticipated, but still far from lactose milkshake productions. Still has some of that rind and mint oil going on. Plays with notions of pineapple and papaya. Malt body was breadier than expected, heavier than most pale ales, I think they have lighter malt bills on some dipas compared to this. Its a different, lightly sweeter and breadier than average pale ale.
