A review of the batch (4 pack) released towards the end of Summer '21.
Pours a brilliantly clear golden. Amazing big beer level of clarity to it. F-I-N-E fine. Over 1" of white head poured into an Old Humboldt Hemp ale pint glass. The aroma was that fancy like Simcoe that offers a little more than just bittering. Pine, mint, tea, arctic blast gum: Which is to say that it was the Enigma hops that smelled that way. Light Citra influence, like someone threw their tangerine peel on the ground in that Enigma forest.
Taste and mouth feel were sublime. Still rocked that icy peppermint gum feel to the hops, good crisp minimal 2 row, maybe pilsner malt going on staying out the way. Pine and orange influence harmonized. Its weird, you hear all this talk about cryo hops, but this one had that cryo feel you know, icy wintergreen stuff. Not huge, but just different in a good way.
The bitterness is brisk and whisked away, continually leaving me wanting another sip. Great artwork on this too. Hides the alcohol amazingly well, something this brewery does so effortlessly when it comes to making 8% dipas drink like 4% pale ales. Remarkably well done stuff. Hope to see you guys at Moonraker this Friday or Sunday, play it by ear.

Canned on 1/6/2022! Sweet, orange-tangerine citrus, sweet berry fruity, and hint of white wine grape nose on this one! Taste follows with a sweet tropical hoppy, piney and orange citrus bitter finish. This is really clean and pretty well-balanced...it's only missing a little dank hoppy kick on the back end. This is tasty! The best batch so far IMO!

On tap at the source and a later can pour - clear golden straw color with white head leaving scattered lacing. Looks ,smells and tastes like a proper WCDIPA. Enigma and citra hops stand out in the nose and on the palate. Excellent example of the style....my new favorite....for now.
