Had this beer over a year ago, but just now getting around to writing the review and adding it to the database. Purchased as a 4 pack.

Pours a pretty golden color with the perfect 1" of white head and really good retention. Real good clarity, this might be the best looking beer Moonraker has ever made. The aroma is more of a lager yeast impact, then the Saaz/Tettnang hop profile than it is rye. Rye is last.

Taste pulls up on the rye more than the aroma. Its not massive, or the overused 'spicy' designation, but it does give it a different kind of light breadiness to it. Hops in the right amount and variety, totally complimentary without dominating the beer like most of their hoppy ones (and rightfully so). Its crisp, but not super crisp, the rye seems to be somewhat counterintuitive if you want a lighter style lager. I think it all works wonderfully and I'm glad I grabbed a 4 pack, they work well in the summertime, usual softball and river addiction I got going over here.

Moonraker showing off they can do more than dump a ton of hops into a dipa.
