Poured at fridge temp. Pours motor oil black with little brown head. Head quickly dissipated without lacing. No bubbles within. Nose is roasted malts, bourbon, black licorice, vanilla, a bit of coffee grounds, and a nice layer of dark fruit. Lots of chocolate and a bit of marshmallow. Really nice.
Taste is super smooth. Chocolate, dark fruit (cherries, raspberries), vanilla, toffee, maple, bourbon, and some nice marshmallow. Amazing.
Mouthfeel is incredibly smooth and silky. Creamy. Aftertaste is sweet. The alcohol is basically not detectable. This is amazing for having no additives - just bourbon barrel aging. I'm a big fan.
