For Sea Thrift, the Moonraker crew started with a tried and true base of Bohemian floor malted barley. They dry hopped the brew with established Czech Saaz and, in an inspired twist, Mandarina Bavaria for vibrant surges of citrus!

Clear, pale yellow body; fair lively carbonation; very nice head, soft and white; decent rings of foam encircle the glass. Nice warm bread crust aroma; a tad herbal with some fruity esters. Fantastic flavor; biscuit; floral sweetness; very mild yeast flavor; moderate hop bitterness. Medium body; crisp; light coarseness on the palate.
A very nice kölsch, clean with a bit of divergence from the classic style yet doesn't go overboard with gimmicky elements.
