Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours slightly hazy golden straw yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and leaves a little nice lacing.
S: Dank, Southern Hem diesel, grassy, herbal, zesty citrus, a little underlying tropical and stone fruit, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Resinous, grassy, herbal, big Southern Hem diesel, zesty citrus, grapefruit, lime, and tangerine, underlying tropical and stone fruit, peach, passion fruit, apricot, mango, lychee, and guava, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, mild to moderate carbonation, soft on the palate.
O: Riwaka can be a bit polarizing with it's green resinous zesty diesel side, but I happen to be a fan, and here it plays the perfect counter to all the fruity notes of Citra. It brings an intensity, but also a balanced drinkability. I'm all about it, but I wish the fruity side showed through in the nose a bit more.

Citrusy & tropical blast right to the face with a hint of sweet bubblegum in there... especially on the nose. Definitely edged toward the sweet side but has enough bitterness to balance it out pretty nicely to make it very drinkable. Damn Moonraker just doesn't really miss and this is no exception. Fantastic hazy for sure!

Such an interesting easy drinking hazy which prompted me to post a review after many years.
It's vegetal. has a hint of nori and even a very subtle touch of Szechuan peppercorn at the finish.
Is it my favorite Moonraker offering? No, and i've had a a lot as a local, but it prompted me to log back in here.
