My first non-IPA from these ones (as my girlfriend would say). 500ML bottle.
Black. Nearly lifeless. Nose is heavy on the black licorice.
Original Oil V6 has the attributes of a stout aged in homemade bourbon barrels. The bourbon is a touch – stale? old? tired? uninspired? – but not in a terrible way, which doesn’t make much sense. The stealth-stout sweet, savory, with zero balancing roast. Somewhat creamy. A gulping stout.
An odd union of stuff. Very sweet, with an odd bourbon hit. Solid.
