Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden yellow with a frothy cream white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Zesty juicy citrus , tropical and stone fruit, spicy pine, a touch grassy, faint floral hints, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Juicy citrus, tangerine, grapefruit, lime, and lemon, tropical and stone fruit, peach, pineapple, mango, apricot, passion fruit, and a touch of melon, spicy pine, a little grassy, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness, with a little alcohol poking through at times.
M: A touch on the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate, with a little alcohol poking through at times.
O: Got crazy busy and kinda lost track of this one in the fridge, so it's probably a bit past its prime, but it still drinks pretty nicely. It lets you know its size a bit more than I'm used to for a Moonraker DIPA, especially at "only" 8%, but that could just be more noticeable due to the age. Either way, still a tasty way to celebrate 9 years. Cheers to many more!
