L: Had this beer on-tap at Gene's Haufbrau, poured into a pint glass. Had a dirty brown color and a hazy texture. There was a quarter inch of foamy head that lasted an average amount of time. Fair lacing.
S: A kind of underwhelming aroma of malt, some hops, and an earthy quality.
T: Tasted of a lot of hops (much more than a typical beer of the style), a fair amount of malt, a grating metallic quality, a bit of citrus (a hint of lemon), and the aforementioned earthiness. The flavor here is quite out of balance. The metallic quality takes over everything and makes it overly displeasing.
F: A decent amount of carbonation with a dry harsh finish. Medium-bodied.
O: On the whole, this beer is a misfire. Not very interesting.
