L - Deep brown/black, like a stout with a thin head.
S - Malt, honey, molasses, faint hop pine resin on the nose.
T - Malty sweet, smooth, with just enough citrusy hop bitterness to let the dark roasted malt shine. Super smooth on the palate and refreshing.
F - Rich, medium-thick mouthfeel, slightly syrupy, moderate carbonation.
Overall - Absolutely delicious, paying tribute to the Köstritzer it’s modeled upon, but with a more intense, fresh, sweet malty flavor. An ideal session beer for a hot summer day.
