Pours an opaque black-brown with minimal head. Incredibly rich, malty flavor with strong notes of caramel and a notable creaminess. The bourbon aging is noticeable and adds a strong touch of molasses without being overpowering.
Overall the beer and the barrel are an exquisite match, and expert brewing brings out the best parts of each. This is a near-peerless beer worthy of a hearty recommendation.

Pours opaque, dark brown in color with one quarter inch head. Taste is vanilla, caramel, bourbon, and cream. Heavy bodied, slick, sweet with low carbonation. Silky smooth. Makes for an excellent bourbon beer. Lots of great bock taste. Great first beer from the brewery.
