16oz can purchased at the brewery 5/21/2024.

True to style, this ESB checks all the boxes. Dark copper and mildly hazy with a wonderfully caramel-toffee nose. Malty and bready up front with a proper balance of hop bitterness in the finish. This is an excellent example — and a very drinkable — extra special bitter.

Apparently reformulated from 6.5 to 5.1% ABV.

Had on tap at the brewery. Pours murky, copper in color with one inch head. Taste isbig mineral, black tea, and brown bread. Light bodied, moderate carbonation, slightly bitter. Excellent beer. Reminds Mr of England. Very true to the style.

I tried this at the brewery. It poured a slightly hazy orangish with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had faint hints of bitter citrus. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with touch citrus presence. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a dcent beer.
