The “Bee Sting” is a farmhouse style saison with an interesting grain bill that includes quinoa and wheat berries; brewed with local honey, fresh lemons and dry hopped with lavender, all said to calm a bee sting.

Pours a fairly clear dark yellow color, abundant foamy head. Aroma is refreshing - lightly funky, lots of honey, a little bready, light clove. Flavor has a gentle sweetness with a slight pervasive bitterness. I get a bready flavor with some honey, and a slightly bitter clove finish with some lemon mixed in. Not sure if the bitterness comes from the lemon or lavender, or the hops... Appropriate micro carbonation, crisp and refreshing, a bit too much bitterness on the finish for this style. Overall, an ok beer, prob wouldn’t buy again.

IMO, A little to much honey. It is very sweet. It over powers the beer.
