Poured into a Gulden Draak tulip. Pours a slightly hazy reddish orange with a thin head that dissipates to a tiny ring around the glass with no lacing. Aroma of saison yeast, pear and apple, slight grain and mild blueberry, a little tart. Flavor is tart apple and blueberry juice, wild and saison yeast, light brett, finishes tart with a blueberry edge and light woodiness. Light to medium bodied with sharp carbonation. Although presented as a Belgian style ale, its profile is closer to the tart range of farmhouse and wild yeast ales; little Belgian yeast character. Nicely made and the blueberry is added with a restrained hand, adding a light pleasant note to the ale. Not my style, but good fruit and wild yeast flavors with light barrel character.
