A crisp, clear ale from the bottle with neglible sediment, so for a witbier it's not on style in that respect. Very pretty. Very light head. The aroma is yeasty bread, some spice notes which are probably coriander. Taste is right on -- a true Belgium, having spent some time there in the past, it brings back good memories. Very enjoyable before a meal.

500ml bottle

Bottle 5 months ago, hopefully it's still good. Freshest bottles I could find.

Pours about a finger of white head into my tulip. Immediately starts to aggressively fizz away. Completely gone within seconds. Body is a golden yellow, with a large amount of bubbles coming up. Not very cloudy at all, quite transparent. Overall not impressed so far.

The nose is nice. Light, somewhat dry notes coming through. Coriander, chamomile and orange are all present. Smells very refreshing. Good nose.

Flavor is pretty good for the most part. Chamomile is quite present, coriander lingers in the background. Not terrible citrusy. Flavor starts to fade towards the end, and it gets a slightly stale grain character, I would assume this is the old age of the beer coming into play. Tastes perfectly fine overall, but the flavors are not nearly big enough, and the beer as a whole doesn't hit on enough flavors. It's good, not great.

The mouthfeel is reminiscent of the appearance - thin. Usually with a grain bill like this I expect something I little thicker in the mouth. This however is thin as all hell. Borderline watery, with a below medium carbonation. Not very inviting as a whole. Dry in the finish, but has some sweet notes up front.

The drinkability is pretty good. Not very crazy about the awkward mouthfeel, but it still tastes pretty good.

The appearance turned out pretty bad. Literally zero lacing. Head and body were bad, as mentioned. Nothing really good to say here.

Overall, I mean it's a good beer I guess. Totally all over the place. The appearance and mouthfeel are sub par. Taste and smell are good.

Poured into a weizen glass. Pours a light to medium golden amber with a thin, fizzy white head that dissipates quickly to a ring around the glass. Aroma of wheat, coriander and a hint of orange. Flavor is light wheat, slightly husky, coriander, pepper, apple, and slight orange and lemon. Flavor tapers off quickly into the finish with only the coriander lingering. Medium bodied with light creaminess and peppery carbonation. A light witbier that hits all the requisite profile flavors, but is kind of watery in the finish. The flavor is good and the Belgian yeast has good flavor, but it seems to pull its punches and fade away, leaving just coriander and a little bitterness from the chamomile; the latter is a strong herb and probably could have used some more flavor depth to support it. An OK wit, but not one I'll return too.
