Clear handsome amber brew with plenty of foam in the Brigand chalice. The cucumber is quite distinct, but as you sip the other oddity flavors emerge. The aroma is just to bizarre to decode, and peppermint seems to be part of it for no apparent reason. There is a sharp, tangy taste more like lime, but just a hint of fruity sweetness to start. More acidic to finish. Still, this is actually quite drinkable and tastes like a citrus mixed drink.

I wonder if it's still as strong as advertised, but it seems to have lasted well. I"m opening this corked and caged beer with a 2019 date in November 2022. Brought back from a trip and stored since in a mostly chilly garage.

Aroma is bursting with cucumber and funkiness. Lingers on the tongue with gin barrel, lemon, saltiness, cucumber and finishes sharp but refreshing. An amazing overall beverage, excellent for a warm summer evening.
