Bottle. Colour is near black with a thin tan head. Nose is largely cardamom with additional notes of cinnamon and malted milk powder. Palate is astringent in the front with loads of sweet spice, then dryness and a tightly tannic cardamom thing on the long finish.

500 ml bottle into a snifter. A 2023 release, had 12/14/24.
Pours a mostly opaque dark brown, with a quarter inch foamy head and no real lacing. Aromas of rye whiskey, cardamom, roasted malt, some vanilla- more as it warms, some oak and chocolate. The flavors are similar and a little more distinct: rye whiskey, vanilla, cardamom, chocolate, malt, light oak. Smooth, a very good fuller body, well carbonated.
Flavorful and balanced. The cardamom works well here, and the barrels are sufficient but on the softer side. Very enjoyable.

Pours deep brown. Lovely sweet aroma of vanilla and rye with hints of dark fruits. Taste is incredible balan e of vanilla, dark fruits, cardamom & the rye whiskey. Mouthfeel is on border between full and medium, probably falling just into the full side. Overall an incredible stout.
