Served in a can.
Decent, 2-finger head on the initial pour. This settles an incomplete fine layer of bubbles very quickly, almost like soda pop. No permanent lacing on the glass. The liquid is an orange-gold color.
There's a vanilla ice cream smell to this beer. Some wheat malt aromas along with (oddly) some faint ice box freezer burn smell.
The beer has a strong creamed corn taste to it. It reminds me of my very first homebrews. The initial taste is malty without any raw grain to it. This makes the finish surprising as here is where the corn really pops out. The body is rich; the carbonation is low. The aftertaste lingers in a soft way. Despite the imperial monicker, I don't taste or feel any alcohol warmth (6.5% abv).
