Presentation: 500 milliliter bottle poured into a pint glass. Purchased from Total Wine & More.
Look: darker golden color. No head whatsoever. No lacing.
Smell: grains, sweet maltiness, apples. The smell is faint overall but not unpleasant.
Taste: similar to the smell. Grains, sweet maltiness, and apples. Faint earthy flavor as well. The flavor is mild overall but not offensive.
Feel: very watery mouthfeel. Minimal carbonation detected.
Overall: it’s not a good beer. I am assuming the bottle I got was part of a bad batch, or just expired, because I’ve never had a beer with such little carbonation. I could not find a production date or an expiration date on the bottle, so who knows. The flavors aren’t horrible. However, it is so watery, and lacks carbonation which is a major turn off.

My first from Opillia, I went on their website and was impressed by how developed it was... but alas no English button (and Cyrillic is impenetrable to me.) So I looked at the photos on each page. And Opillia seems to have a portfolio of a dozen or so beers, which indicates they are trying. But not being able to read what is not conveyed in photos, I can only give them limited Overall Hugs... despite them probably being in a war zone.
Rating Euro Pales is getting burdensome because I consider 3.25 average for all styles and I rarely rate below 3 because I'm a swell guy. So for 1851, I'm way above its average because most raters do not consider there to be the same average for all styles.
1851 Looks below average, not much life but at least golden. It Smells mostly of sweet malt, a bit of apple cider. Its sweet Tastes are hard to balance and doesn't. It is light for the style. My only recommendation is to split this bottle with three people at lunch.

Export means what exactly? Looks kind of watery and flat. Aroma of tequila and fake alcohol mixed with hops.
Literally tastes like the aroma. The taste and aftertaste is a weird tequila-like chloriney fake alcohol taste...it is found in most commercial Ukrainian beers, except those made by Carlsberg Ukraine. Maybe it's the water they use? Kind of like how I would imagine a pond to maybe taste.
Best stick to anything brewed by Carlsberg Ukraine, or Obolon is a little better.

Dark saturated gold tone, bright clarity, two fingers of foam, briefly visible rising carb trails.
Aroma is nondescript, cooked cereal grains, mild malt sweetness, light apple ester. Gentle and inoffensive.
Taste is mild, cereal grains and pale malt, slightly sweet with a mild grassy hop bitterness in the finish. Light bodied and prickly with CO2, a touch overcarbed.
Easy enough to drink, paired well with Ukrainian charcuterie.
