definitely not as farmy as i like my farmhouse beer to be, not rustic or funky really at all, no brett or anything either that i can really appreciate here, but its a clean and drinkable beer, lighter than i was anticipating, and the yeast is not at all without character, i would hate to create that impression here. mostly clear from the tap with a decent little white head on it and high carbonation visible. it smells loosely belgian, maybe that french saison strain, some neat fruity and vinous esters to it, but all quite subtle. a cakey thing to the grain base, off dry, with an earthiness about it, a freshness too, and then a noble type hop profile way in the background. all of that is exactly what i taste too, and i like the yeast a lot, i just think its a bit clean for something dubbed a farmhouse ale. slight peppery spice to it, a hint of white wine, and even a taffy thing going on, but the beer isnt sweet. refreshing from the bright carbonation and fast on the finish. a nice easy drinker overall, but i preferred their hoppy offerings in here!

Hazy stra gold that really lacks classic lacing or reminisce of head in general.
Peach, flash of citrus, trace of pear and melon. Crack of hay. Clove spice.
Mildly bitter, moderately dry on finish. Mellow, balanced. Worth a try on a hot day.
