Clear gold with plenty of carbonation with two finger of white foam and light lacing. Aromas of honey, white bread, lemon zest and light floral hops. Tastes as it smells. Front of the sip is bready in an airy way, backend has zesty hop textures, but overall is a brief experience. All around good helles. The wife liked it

Poured from a pint can purchased at the brewery 10/31/20 dated 10/7/20, and a collaboration with nearby Five Boroughs brewing. Biscuit and lemon aroma, slightly thin body, a finger of foam that quickly dissipated to nice lacing. Flavor follows the aroma with a dry finish. True to the style and enjoyable, just a bit thin for the autumn season. In hot weather I’d have a few or 3

Expert level helles. Light toast, bit of bread, mild clean barley, subtle spicy hops. Hits all the right notes in a super drinkable beer. It's layers of all the little flavors. Love it

Pours a clear golden color with visible carbonation. A moderate head quickly dissipates and yields a layer of suds and ring like lacing.

The nose has a nice scent of earthy perfumes, floral and grassy hops. Later, there are malt aromas that evoke bread, light toast and fresh hay.

Clean and crisp taste punctuated by bright and spicy hops, yielding flavors of lemon and grass, amidst a dry cracker malt backbone. Not particularly sweet, instead, the hops impart a peppery yet clean and easy going bitterness, while the lemon flavors evoke hints of tartness. Medium bodied with a lively carbonation. The finish is clean and dry.

Refreshing and easy drinking. A bit on the hoppy side for a Helles, nevertheless, quite enjoyable. In my experience, KCBC has proved to be a versatile brewery that has a great technique for different styles; Lagers being no exception.

A: The beer is clear yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high bright white head that died down a bit but never completely faded away, leaving some lacy rings of bubbles around the edges of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of floral hops and bready malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of floral hops and bready malts with a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This Helles Lager is a little hoppier compared to other beers in the style.

Pours a clear yellow, wth fine, thick foam.

Smell is clean, crisp, and bready with some floral hops.

Taste is light and bready. Very refreshing with some nice floral hoppiness and a light bitterness.

Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.

Overall, a terrific lager, drinkable and crisp.
