Single pint copped from Bottle King in Morris Plains. Terrific appearance with a prominent full-finger 5 point head bursting with ripples of sugar cane, molasses and cocoa butter. Rich flavor redolent of chocolate and nougat. Excellent stuff. Recommended.

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a short light tan head that left a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of dark and chocolate malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional notes of smoky malts and bits of roast. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The taste of this stout is rather complex and has a lot of different flavors going on.

This is a collaboration with Rockaway Brewing Company
Tall can, 11/3/17
Purchased as a single from City Swiggers, NYC, NY ($4.99)
Pours very dark and stout like, minimal head, and just a super fine film, and very minor lacing left on the glass.
Chocolate and lightly burned dark malts on the nose...rich and inviting.
Super tasty, luxurious and complex stout. More chocolate, cafe au lait, dark malts and roasty goodness all over this offering....Nice to enjoy a quality stout in today's world of a zillion IPAs being crafted by seemingly every brewery.
