Picked this up last year at KCBC, finally getting around to it tonight. Love the can art the fact that one of my favorite beers from them was redone as a DDH version. This was incredibly smooth and easy to drink as the dry-hopped feel of this beer really shone through once it warmed up - both in actuality and to me!

Lovely pour to this as the liquid was an off-gold that was cloudy, silently radiant, and had some light seeping in around the edges. A nice head topped this off as it held it's own and the lacing on the side of my pint glass was quite extensive, even if any rings weren't easily discernible. Lots of cream, buoyant hops, vegetables, skunk, funk, and tropical notes in the understated but complex nose as the taste contained all of those to varying degrees. The Mosaic and Azacca stood out to me here as this beer was slick, overripe, and dank while remaining sweet enough to savor sip by sip. The tangerine juice-like slickness remained long after this went down as the carbonation was light and brisk enough to scrub everything away after each sip...

The amount of alcohol in this was spot-on as I felt a bit of warming but not hints of booze on my palate throughout my session. This was impressive in how easy it was to drink given the seemingly weird range of flavors that were present up front. Dated 12/4 of last year with "CANNIVERSARY" written above it, this was easily once of KCBC's best beers that I've reviewed. Easily deserves another go-around, to the point where the label art was *not* as good as what was on the inside!
