The sequel to our original--this time with raspberries and key lime. Pours a vibrant reddish-pink hue with light haze. Bright berries on the nose, massive fresh lime, and a brisk, tangy finish.

For the third beer from KCBC, I went with a sour. Thus far, the beer that I have tried from KCBC was good, but nothing I would drink again. The labels on their beers are phenomenal, I love the artwork. The pour of the beer is a pinkish cranberry hue with a light pink head. The head of the beer is airy and creamy with fair retention. The head did leave some lacing on the beer. The beer has some haze to it. Overall, the appearance is excellent. From the sours, I have drunk the head retention is above par.
The initial aroma is raspberries and lime. Nosing further, I get lightly toasted crackers, wheat, salt, and a hint of earthiness. Lastly, I detect an acidic note, but it not overally sour.
The flavors in the beer are raspberries, lime, crackers, sour lemons, a hint of floral, and earthiness.
The mouthfeel of the beer is puckering, carbonated, and crisp.
The body of the beer is medium-light, medium-plus carbonation, and fuller finish.
I enjoyed this sour. The fruit flavors are pronounced and vibrant. Awesome beer.

Pours cranberry red with limited aroma. Tastes sour amost liked a mixed drink or a cocktail. Lime and sour raspberries are flavor forward. Great summer beer.

Served in a 10 oz (295 ml) goblet at the KCBC brewery.
A: Pours a slightly hazy, cranberry color with a short lived pink head and no lacing.
S: Aromas of lime and berry evident. Not particularly tangy. Lime definitely predominates.
T: Semidry to dry and tart. The palate largely follows the nose, with raspberries perhaps a bit more in evidence.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate effervescence.
O: Nice AWA. I find that lime and red berries almost always work in Wild Ales and this is no exception. Resembles a margarita a little.

A: The beer is clear dark garnet red in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high pink colored head that died down, leaving an off white patch of bubbles on the center surrounded by a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of raspberries are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, having flavors of raspberries with a light to moderate amount of sourness and hints of limes towards the finish.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and slightly tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer isn't overly sour or tart. I really liked the blend of raspberries, sourness, and limes in the taste.

Tall can....2/16/18
Pours a startling shade of medium red/cranberry, minimal head/lacing.
Lightly fruited nose with lime and raspberry coming to mind.
Medium tart, full on fruity...enjoyable sour/wild ale...well worth a try
