A: The beer is nearly jet black in color—traces of dark brown are visible near the edges of the glass when it is held up to a bright light. It poured with a half finger high beige head that left a thin layer of bubbles and a collar around the edge of the glass after it settled down.
S: Moderate aromas of cola and dark malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of cola with notes of dark and chocolate malts with a faint amount of bitterness.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This porter seems to have a little stronger flavors of cola and malts compared to other beers in the style.
