Beer pours a matte yellow - orange color. Completely opaque and thick in appearance. Thin off-white head dissipates leaving a thin residual layer of velvet head on top of the beer.

Aroma is a pungent aroma of juicy fruit juice, mango, nectarine, peach, and some pineapple.

Taste follows the nose with notes of peach, mango and pineapple. The flavors are mostly present on the front end of the beer before falling off a cliff with a finish that fades out quickly. Some bitter notes come through and linger to the finish. There is slight spiciness to the bitterness with someone and sap notes. Somewhat sweet, but the quick finish and lingering bitterness cuts through the sweetness and fools your palate.

Feel is medium bodied, smooth, and creamy. Moderately carbonated.

Overall its a nice example of a NE style IPA - nothing particularly unique about this one, but its well done and an above average representation of the style.

This double dry hopped IPA features Pilsener, Pearl, and wheat malt, flaked wheat, and Citra, Mosaic, and Motueka hops... No canning date, but the KCBC instagram indicates this was a 12/7/18 can release... It also indicates this was a collab with Greenpoint, but that is not indicated anywhere on the can...

Pale gold beer, totally opaque like grapefruit juice, with a coupla fingers of white foam on top... Plenty of floral tropical and citrus aromas like grapefruit, lime, and orange preview more of the same on the sip... Mildly sweet, there are also hints of peach, kiwi, and guava on the taste... Bitterness is mild, and there are more bright citric moments than anything truly bitter... Plush carbonation and wheat malts create a very soft and smooth feel to this medium-light weight beer...

Pretty much par for the course as these fruit smoothie-type beers go - delicious and lush, but fairly formulaic...

A: The beer is cloudy pale yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that hardly died down, consistently leaving a short head covering the surface.
S: Light aromas of limes are present in the nose along with hints of stone fruit.
T: The taste mostly follows the smell, having flavors of limes with notes of stone fruit and hints of basil. Only a slight amount of bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels just about medium-bodied and somewhat juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has an interesting combination of hops—I particularly liked the combination of lime and basil.

Tall can, I can find no canning date/freshness info

Heavily hazed/clouded NEIPA kinda pour. leaves nice fields of larger bubble lacing. Lifts a large and lasting khaki cap...nice looking brew.

Ripe tropical fruit nose with waves of pineapple/grapefruit.

Super tasty, complex, and highly worthy creation....lots of tropical fruit goodness, with more and more fresh and ripe pineapple coming through, well done job on the sweet fruit/drying hops balance..

Mighty fine and well worth seeking out .... go get some

Pours a very hazy orange color with a moussy foam head that shows great retention.
The aroma first evokes earthy greenery, grass, pine and floral notes. Then, fruity aromas bring forth freshly squeezed orange juice, tangerine, grapefruit, melon and peach.
The taste is dominated by bright citrus flavors, grapefruit pulp, unripe orange, and a zesty lime that adds a tiny hint of tartness. These flavors very soon become immersed with prickly and earthy middle palate of pine needles, grass, and floral notes. The hops provide a light bitterness, however, contribute more with a peppery spice flavor and zesty citrus that provides a nice sting.
Medium bodied, crisp, and with a clean citrusy and spicy/grassy finish. There is a moderate and prickly carbonation. Although there is some juiciness, the overall dryness of the palate greatly aids drinkability.
Top of the line IPA that is juicy, earthy and dry. Very easy to crush.

perhaps my favorite hoppy beer from our entire trip to new york last week, and i mean from anywhere. this beer is amazing, similar to many others with a strong mosaic profile and a multigrain body and haziness to it, but there is a real distinctive southern hemisphere hop profile on it too that makes it unique and a stand out for me, something from new zealand, like white wine and melon and tropical punch to me, still with the citrus and pineapple of the mosaic, although i dont know for sure what all hops are actually in this. the art on the can is awesome, but the beer inside is far more serious than the playful label, balanced with some character from the grain that isnt sweetness, a cereal sort of earthiness thats awesome, and it holds the hops way up in the front. so much fruitiness to this, it seems almost concentrated, maybe a cryo hop or a dust thing, its intense and somehow doesnt have the vegetal green pellet taste a lot of them at this level of dry hop do have, and i think thats why i like it so much. juicy and refreshing when ice cold, usually i like these to warm up a little, but this is almost crisp for how oily and hoppy it is when its cold. really fun can of beer, definitely one worth seeking out. even a standard setter for the style in my mind, the hop profile is incredible!

edit: this may not hold its freshness super well. just dipped into one of the cans i brought back from new york, just two weeks ago, and it is already fading, a totally different experience than the first time i had it. should be obvious in this style and all, but freshness makes a big difference with this one...
