Triple Dry Hopped Triple IPA //Zack's brew
Our hoptopus IPA on steroids with Mosaic, Citra, Motueka, Azacca & Cascade. Opaque golden-orange haze in the glass, and completely overloaded with juicy tropical flavors of pineapple, apricot, lime, melon, and gummy peach rings. Smooth & creamy on the palate, with a soft tangy finish. Ridiculously hoppy. Dangerously drinkable.

My first beer from KCBC, I chose this monster TIPA. The beer is 46 degrees and served in a tulip glass. The pour of the beer created a massive head with excellent retention. The head is bright white frothy and foamy. The dissipation left chunky lacing on the glass. The color of the beer is SRM 4, pale straw with light amber hues. The beer is cloudy. Overall, the appearance of the beer is excellent for this style. The beer is beautiful.
The aromas in the beer are crackers, bread, lightly toasted malts, lemons, oranges, pineapple, a hint of grapefruit, mangos, guava, a touch of pine, a scent of floral, and creeping in from the back herbal notes. The nose of the beer is fragrant and bready. This beer is less than two months old.
The flavors in the beer are mangos, oranges, pineapple, peaches, pears, floral esters, bay leaves, eucalyptus, toasted crackers, bread crust, lightly toasted malts, pine needles, and subtle lemons.
The mouthfeel of the beer is somewhat creamy but crisp and kind of slick (akin to soap).
The body of the beer is medium, medium-light carbonation, and full finish.
The beer is over finessed. The malt backbone in the beer is huge, not giving the hops a chance to shine. This is a solid beer with a wonderful flavor profile. The slick oily mouthfeel is a little off-putting, but expected with huge IPA's Solid IPA, looking forward to other offerings from KCBC.

Mine included Citra, Mosaic, Ekuanot, Amarillo, & Azacca hops.
L: A murky orande-tangerine with a single finger fluffy orange-tinged ivory head, settling slowly with decent lace.
S: Immediately recognizable as a KCBC IPA, I pick up that lime/sour-grapefruit mineral spirit quality. There is also a lot of citrus and boozy notes, honeydew, and papaya.
T: Follows the nose, but a tad less astringent - masks the booze well with tangerine, melon, and papaya.
F: Bold medium body, right-carbonation and slightly resinous.
O: I found this a hug improvement over the (just) Dangerous Precedent! Great Triple!

Got this monster from a buddy canned on 2/17/20 Citra, Mosaic, Ekuanot, Amarillo, & Azacca NETIPA. Pours an extremely hazy orange yellow with a 2 finger off white sticky grab that leaves massive sticky gobs of lace with excellent retention. 4.5
Smell is loaded with pineapple, apricot, mandarin, papaya, and white grapefruit. 4.5
Taste follows big apricot, mandarin, and papaya upfront with pineapple and grapefruit in the bold not overly bitter finish. 4.5
Mouthfeel is really big, soft gentle carbonation, sticky not dry, and at 10% loaded with flavor, but goes down very easy. 4.75
Overall I have not how anything from this brewery until now and this is an exceptional and slightly unique brew. 4.5

Served on tap in a 4 oz (120 ml) taster glass at the KCBC brewery.
A: Pours a cloudy, yellow orange color with a one finger, off white head, decent retention, and spidery lacing.
S: Fruity. Aromas of lime, nectarine, pineapple, and grapefruit very appreciable, with a bit of toast and pine.
T: Semisweet. Flavors almost entirely following the nose. Refreshing and very inviting.
M: Medium bodied with solid effervescence.
O: A very enjoyable, NEIPA. Citrus is strong and very thirst quenching.
