Born of Bobby’s love of tajin spice, bodega tacos, 90’s hip-hop, and margaritas (from his bartending days in San Diego), we bring you a totally lime-a-licious, salty sour, with a light capsaicin kick from of Mexican guajillo chiles on the finish. Perfect for stoop-sippin’ on Cinco de Mayo (or any day, really) while listening to Pharcyde & The Beastie Boys in the yum-yum-yummertime.

Appearance - The beer poured a cloudy straw color with sediment apparent and a white head crowning the glass.
Smell - Lime really stood out in the nose. It was like smelling margarita mix.
Taste - There was definitely a lot of lime in this beer. Wheat and a high level of salt were also noted. It profiled like there were gobs of lactose which was undesirable. The peppers were largely absent. The lime lingered.
Mouthfeel - The body was milky, creating a thick body for a gose. Carbonation seemed appropriate for the style.
Overall - By definition of style, this is more a slushie than a gose.

A: The beer is very hazy whitish yellow in color. It poured with a short white head that rapidly dissipated, leaving just a narrow ring of bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of limes are present in the nose along with some hints of passion fruit and hints of chili peppers.
T: The taste is nearly a mirror image to the smell and finishes with a nice kick of spiciness from the chilies.
M: It feels light-bodied and a little tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is nice and fruity without being overly sour. The spicy flavors of chilies lend a little complexity to the finish.
