A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that died down, leaving a thin patch of bubbles on the surface, a minuscule collar around the edge, and traces of lacing running down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of gooseberries and lime are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, having flavors of gooseberries and lime along with additional notes of passionfruit. Little, if any bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is quite juicy and seems more like a New England-style IPA.

From the can it pours a very hazy orange juice like color. A moderate frothy head retains throughout, and yields lacing.
The aroma opens with a burst of orange juice sweetness. However, other citrusy aromas soon impart some tartness, evoking lemon, lime, and passion fruit. Further still, a pungent catty aroma kicks in and blends well with the smell of orange and grapefruit pulp.
The taste opens somewhat tart with flavors of unripe grapefruit and passionfruit. The hops flavors are quite zesty, evoking the stinging sensation of lemon or lime peel, along with a strong peppery spice that is coming from either the hops or yeast. A muted orange juice sweetness somehow keeps the elements in check, as the dry malt is basically overrun by the hops.
Medium bodied, crisp and with a spicy, peppery and citrusy and zesty finish that is dry, has quite the sting and leaves you wanting more. The carbonation is pretty tight and on par.
This grew on me as I came to appreciate its complexity. The spicy and peppery burn of the hops might be a turn off to some; I found it unique. An interesting and enjoyable brew.
