Collaboration with Verdant Brewing Co

Fruited IPA with apricot, strawberry and lime. A hazy, swirling melange of fruit ā€˜n’ hops: summery stone fruit on the nose (nectarine-apricot-peach) with flavors of rainbow sherbet, crushed pineapple, and light citrus pith on the finish. Citra, Cashmere, Simcoe, Azacca and Loral hops. Brewed with our buds from Cornwall. Tastier than a tornado of burritos.

Burritonado is a great beer! The strawberry, apricot, and lime are subtle. Excellent Fruited iPA. You get the juicy hop IPA with a splash of the fruit flavors. It's a mid-level beer at 6.9% which is fine. It's not too weak or too boozy. KCBC did a nice collaboration with VERDANT on this brew!! I need to get some more from the store on my next beer run!

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on August 20, 2019. Collaboration with Verdant Brewing Co. Brewed with strawberry, apricot and lime. Not a fan.

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy whitish yellow in color. It poured with a half finger high white head that died down and left a large patch of bubbles on the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of gooseberries and limes are present in the nose along with hints of strawberries.
T: The taste starts off with sour flavors of gooseberries and limes - these continue throughout most of the taste and just some bits of apricots and strawberries peek through towards the finish.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA is certainly very fruity, but almost seems like a hybrid between an American Wild Ale and a New England IPA with its sourness and juiciness. There are a lot of different ingredients in here, but the combination of flavors didn't blow me away.
