Pours hazy gold in the glass with aromas & flavors of fresh citrus (orange & grapefruit), a hint of dank candied pineapple, and smooth resin on the finish. Packed with Mosaic, Motueka, Amarillo & Centennial hops, plus a healthy heaping of wheat & oats. Crank it up & crush it down.

Copenhagen 9/7 2020. 47,3 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. The can looks like a very colorful poster from a 1980 heavy metal record with howling skull with hop flowers for horns, flames in abundance and some bystanders melting in great agony.
Pours opaque, golden yellow with a small white head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of malts and exotic fruit. Orange juice and citric odors rummaging in the background. Citrus and grape fruit. Sharp streak of strong mustard peeking in.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet-ish with a rough bitter undercurrent. Lingers for a while.
Solid with good intensity. A bit on the sweet side. The can promises a bit too much - but who can live up to a flaming, purple skull and melting bystanders?
