Pours a very cloudy golden color with a thick foamy head. Head retention is very good. Lacing is excellent. Wonderful, juicy tropical aroma. Fresh, juicy tropical taste. Get mango and papaya. Sweetness at the end. Maybe pineapple. Kind of syrupy. Medium to heavy bodied with mild to moderate carbonation. Low bitterness. Very good.

Can. Never had a KCBC beer before. Pours the part. Hearty head. Buttload of lacing. Opaque, dim orange color of body. Nose isn't anything crazy. Not super intense. Not overly interesting. Sweet creaminess and fruit medley hops. Flavor is more intense and an improvement over the nose. I've always been an avid Nelson guy. So this beer had a leg up off the bat. It's not a Nelson bomb (as it also showcases the more heralded Mosaic) but the New Zealand nuances are there. Just a bit of that mustiness I enjoy. Feels lighter in body and ABV than it actually is. Overall, a solid beer but it's not going to force another purchase of KCBC. That's more a critique on the state of craft beer as a whole than this particular brewery.

Served in a tulip glass from the can which I picked up at the brewery yesterday.
Appearance: Deep thick cloudy darker tinted yellow body with a white head rising almost two fingers length off the body.
Smell: Deep piney like scent, hits the nostrils pretty strong with stronger hops aroma. Lingers very hard and ridiculously stronger grapefruit.
Taste: juicy grapefruit with smooth malts. It's bitter yet sweet all at once. Ridiculously thirst queching citrus flavor which is smoother than a homemade lemonade. Floral, hints of barley and hoppy as fudge.
Mouth: Soft carbonation with an ultra sticky body. I love the after-taste, a thirst quenching citrus. In lust.
Overall: Going back either tomorrow or Saturday back to the brewery and hope there's more. A must grab and definitely will have at least two more 4-packs God willing. Salud!
