Cloudy orange, strong fluffy head and long lasting lacing. When I opened the can and poured it, strong dank hop scent, strong citrusy notes of grapefruit and pineapple, slight orange undercurrent. Taste is juicy, citrusy, hoppy, and slightly bitter. Full, creamy mouth feel, medium bodied, slight mouth watering finish. Subtle booziness. Apparently not retired, as I got it in a recent Tavour box, and I’m glad it’s back. A darn good version of the style.

New beer AND a new brewery for me, excited to try it. The beer pours a hazy pineapple color with a pearl white head that coats the glass. Literally looks like a glass of pineapple juice. The nose is dank citrus notes, with pineapple, grapefruit, and what comes across as a particularly spicy lemon-lime aroma most prominent.
The pineapple and grapefruit are really forward on the taste, with the lemon-lime following for an exotic flair (hello Motueka hops), but the differentiator for this beer is the oats, for a creamy flavor and mouthfeel, and the rye at the very end for a surprisingly clean, spicy finish.
This is a beer I’d love to enjoy on draft at a bar in the city on a warm summer night. Really well done, IMHO.

I like the can artwork, great use of color. The pour is hazy yellow. The taste is orange, pineapple, grapefruit, peach, rye, & oats. This is a slow sipper & sour bitter IPA. Cheers! A-

Pours a very hazy, nearly turbid yellow orange color. A thumb length foam head shows good retention and sticky lacing.
Fruity and juicy aromas evoke notes of orange juice, mango, peach, passion fruit and lime. Herbal hops aromas display notes of mint and sweet grass.
Opens juicy, with a mouth coating sweetness and bright hops flavors. Biscuity malts and creamy oats support citrusy notes of orange grapefruit and lime, along with fruity notes of passion fruit, peach and apricot. Little perceived bitterness, however, the oats add a drying element, while there is a gentle herbal hops spice for balance. The hops spice is grassy, minty and full of fruity resins. The finish is dry with a light resiny bitterness.
Medium to full bodied with a slick, smooth and creamy mouthfeel. The carbonation is moderate to gentle.
Another solid IPA by KCBC. This one is on the sweeter side being that it is an NEIPA, nevertheless, it has some balance and is relatively easy to drink.

Great beer, canned 10/26/2020 - Citra, Mosaic and Motueka hops.
Hazy sweet and smooth with a bit of a malty aftertaste. Low foam but deep and complex texture. Hope this becomes a staple!
