16oz. can into a Brooklyn Brewery snifter.
Nose is grape, brown sugar, tree sap, and green apple with a mellow booziness. Some dried tea leaf and a slight hop bitterness also. Pretty mellow. Beer opens brown sugar, hazelnut, peanut skin, and booze upfront. Dried tea leaves, more nuttiness, straw, and green grapes in the middle. More molasses and brown sugar in the end. Green apple and ethanol in the aftertaste. Decent. Aftertaste is a little strange. Body is medium to full with low carbonation. Smooth with some minor bubbles on the palate and goes down warm with some booziness. Pretty drinkable though the ABVs are not well hidden.
Pretty average. This one needs some time.
