Pours a raspberry, ruby red, and wine like color. A large pink head quickly dissipates but leaves a collar.
The aroma is slightly funky and with notes of fruit, vanilla and milk sugar. These include notes of sour berries, especially blackberry, strawberry and blueberry.
The taste is mouth puckering in its tartness with fruity flavors. Notes of blueberry, blueberry, strawberry and açai, as well as lemon and lime. Doughy malts and creamy oats form the base, along with subtly sweet notes of vanilla and milk sugar. The finish is tart and very dry.
Medium bodied, tart and dry. The mouthfeel is mostly smooth, even slightly creamy. The carbonation is moderate.
Solid fruited kettle sour overall. A nice blend of adjunct flavors. Tart and refreshing throughout.
