A: The beer is black in color. It poured with a short off white head that left a thin ring of bubbles around the edge and some lacing down the sides.
S: Light to moderate aromas of dark malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has notes of roasted malts, the latter of which are most noticeable towards the finish. There is a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels a bit more than light-bodied and somewhat smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is lighter in body compared to other oatmeal stouts. I guess you could say this makes for a nice fall beer if you want a stout, but not something as heavy that you would want in the middle of the winter.

Poured into a 16 oz narrow pint glass not sure when it was canned. Pours an attractive dark brown with a 2 plus finger tan head that leaves a few streaks of lace, with pretty solid retention. 4
Aroma dark chocolate, vanilla, toffee, coffee, and biscuit. 3.75
Taste follows dark chocolate, vanilla, toffee, coffee, and biscuity grains. 3.75
Mouthfeel is a little above average, maybe a little dry, gentle carbonation, and at 5.9% it drinks a little bigger, but easy going down. 4
Overall this good, not something I would grab again. Will figure out a way to drink the 4 pack. One can might find its way into my St. Patrick’s Day boiled dinner. 3.75

This one pours a dark black color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This one smells like clean roasted malt, milk chocolate, oats, and vanilla.
This is really solid take on a no frills oatmeal stout - one of the better ones that I've had in a bit. It's really creamy, with a great balance between sweet velvety oats and chocolate, and a nicely firm roasty bitterness.
This is medium bodied, creamy, and very, very drinkable.
Not many places are just doing a plain old traditional oatmeal stout anymore, so it's alwas good to see a nice one out in the wild.
