Murky golden haze in the glass, with soft, off-white head. Clobbered with a big ol’ hound dog sized addition of a few of our favorite things: HOPS. Specifically, our hand selected Citra, Mosaic, Strata and Motueka. Notes of bright citrus, creamy coconut, and fresh, mountain-grown peaches. As easy-drinking as singing Do-Re-Mi.

A fairly bland NEIPA. Poured from a 16 oz. can into a pint glass, this beer featured the standard NEIPA hazy straw yellow color. The white head was big and foamy with good retention. There were thick and wide bands of lacing on the glass. Aroma and taste featured somewhat sweet malt, juiciness (a little tropical fruit and berries), and practically no bitterness. Mouthfeel was juicy, smooth and mild with medium richness. Goes down easy but not particularly memorable.

Opaque orange-yellow. Tons of very fine white head.

Tangy and sweet citrus smell. Lemon peel or orange peel, which isn't that common in and of itself. Pine sap is present, but muted. Orange blossom, maybe. I've never come across any brew smell that's nearly all citrus, but it's not like I'd ever complain about that.

Citrus is still present in the taste, but it's dialed back. There's more light malt, and the sweetness is actually at a really pleasant moderate level. Bitterness is moderate, and it needs some time and temperature in order to show up. It's not like it's lacking flavor, it's just less than I'm used to in the standard bearers of this style. It's still pretty good, very well balanced.

It's surprisingly mellow for the type. Carbonation is a little light, but maybe I lost it in the pour (not overdone by me, either). In the aftertaste, the bitterness is still dialed back, and the orange peels make a comeback.

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy pale whitish yellow in color. It poured with a short white head that left a thin collar around the edge and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of lime and strawberry are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell but has additional hints of coconuts and melons. Little to no bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I really enjoyed the coconuts and strawberries in this beer. It is very easy to drink.
