Pours murky yellow haze in the glass. Completely bombarded with our hand-selected Citra, Strata & Mosaic, along with an explosive blast of Riwaka & Motueka hops from our pals at Hop Revolution in NZ. Notes of peach sorbet, tropical skittles, candied grapefruit, and crunch berry kush. "I love the smell of hop joose in the morning. Smells like⦠YUM."

A: The beer is very hazy whitish yellow in color. It poured with a half finger high white head that left a thin collar around the edge and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of lime citrus and mango are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional flavors of passion fruit and honeydew melon.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has the body of a Double IPA but drinks a lot easier compared to what one might expect because it hides the alcohol very well from the taste.
Serving type: can

"Hey, man, you don't talk to the Colonel. You listen to him. The man's enlarged my mind."
From pint can marked CANNED ON 03/22/22
To start with the label carries a delightful rendering of Col Kurz in feline form. If you don't at least crack a smile on seeing this can you must truly be possessed of a heart of darkness.
Poured into my tulip glass this Imperial NE IPA is a fully opaque pineapple juice shade with a creamy off white head. Lots of fluffy lace.
Scent is pineapples, citrus (lime and orange) and a sharp pungent spicy hop aroma. Hint of vanilla. The scent bursts upon opening the can.
"Watching a coast as it slips by the ship is like thinking about an enigma. There it is before you, smiling, frowning, inviting, grand, mean, insipid, or savage, and always mute with an air of whispering, "Come and find out"."
Taste is tropical fruit (guava, mango, passionfruit) with pineapple and citrus. There is a slightly dank pungent note and some resin. Oranges and orange pith. Vanilla. Neither overly sweet nor overly bitter; a good balance. Orange notes including orange julius.
Mouth is creamy to start then juicy.
Drinkability excellent.
Fantastic IIPA.
And now my glass is empty. The horror! The horror!
