Sauron has returned--and he’s thirsting for something… a precioussss thing of power and beauty… the one BLING to rule them all: BARLEYWINE! We’ve borrowed from both American and English traditions to create a beer that is both intensely hoppy (though not overly bitter) and intensely malty (though not overly sweet). Pours a caramel-toffee color in the glass, with notes of sweet orange peel and dried apricots up front, followed by chewy toffee & treacle, with a touch of Earl Grey Tea, and a smooth, warming finish. Perfect for these cold, dark evenings with all your Hobbit friends. Go Leeds United!

Grew on me as room temperature kicked in. Complex rich malt.A favourite style that almost always works for me to order. Draft at Hops Hill, where winners are.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
