Pours bright, copper-gold in the glass with rocky white foam. Notes of ripe stone fruit, pithy tangerine, grapefruit bitters, and earthy resin. Brewed with an abundance of our hand-selected Mosaic, Amarillo, Simcoe, Centennial & Cascade. Explosive flavor, punchy bitterness, and a snappy finish. It’s always more fun to play the Villain…

pours light with a nice foamy one inch head. smells fruity, stone fruit and orange, tastes with orange, tangerine and grapefruit. Has a west coast bitter on the finish, not as bitter as I'd like but good.

Fom the pint can, it pours a clear darker yellow color with a very nice whiite head that slowly reduces and leaves lacing. The nose gets a nice dose of citrus, followed by the mouth getting a nice bitterness that leaves a mildly bitter aftertaste.
2026 update: Yum!

On tap at The Sheffield in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a clear golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like stone fruit, a sort of dry marijuana-ish bitterness, and grapefruit.
This is a really solid bitter and dry West Coast IPA, something I really appreciate these days. There’s some fruitiness, but it’s not overwhelmingly juicy at all. There’s stone fruit and grapefruit, but it’s mostly bitter, but not astringent marijuana and resinous pine.
This is light bodied, crisp, clean, and just super drinkable and pleasant.
I feel like KCBC is one of the more underrated breweries in New York – I’ve always really enjoyed them.

This is a decent stab at WCIPA from an EC brewer. So many don't get these right, and this one isn't perfect of course. But there is acceptable bitterness with heavy Centennial and Simcoe flavors mixed in with a somewhat sweetish maltiness. Fuller bodied. Would drink again

Poured into a tulip - color is gold, head is off white and presents 1/4 inch thick, head dissipates to a ring with lacing on the glass sides.
Aroma is slightly sweet, then toasted malt, hops are earth and light pine with citrus.
Taste is similar with a sweetish malt flavor, more honey like than aroma, some toast, then hop notes of citrus juice, very light pine, some tea and herbal notes.
Mouthfeel is low/moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness then moderate bitterness but low for style.
Overall a slightly sweet IPA, missing a bit of malt forward flavor and bitterness.
