This one pours a fairly hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells primarily of honey – they must have added a lot of that, with grapefruit and orange.
This is a tasty but slightly too sweet DIPA. The honey seems to have not maybe fully fermented out, leaving some definite residual sweetness that seems to amp up the malt characteristics. The grapefruit pith and orange hop flavors are nice, but I definitely wish this was a little bit more bitter on the finish to balance out the sweetness.
This is kind of thick for an IPA, with a bit of an astringent finish as it warms.
I didn’t hate this, but I think possibly too much honey was drizzled on this one.
