This one pours a fairly clear golden orange color, with a small head, and a bit of lacing.
This smells like lightly sweet breadiness, toast, and some light orange.
I want a bit more of a punchy and complex malt character here, and maybe a bit more bitterness, but it’s still tasty, and quite drinkable. It’s smooth, crisp, and very more-ish. There’s a touch of orange-ish hop character, and a pleasant toasiness and breadiness.
This is pretty crisp, and quite drinkable.
I’ve enjoyed other lagers from KCBC a bit more, but this was still an enjoyable festbier.
