Thick haze in the glass, with intense notes of peach nectar, white grape, candied lime, and ripe tangerine. Featuring a massive-meteor-sized dose of our hand-selected Citra hops, alongside New Zealand-grown Nectaron & Motueka -- plus a splash of Hallertau Blanc. Soft mouthfeel, smooth finish. We’d like to think that Jerry Bruckheimer and Michael Bay would be proud.

I was excited to try this DIPA since it is the first time I have found a beer from KCBC locally. This was canned on 1/27/25, so only a month and a half old.
It looked good as I poured it into the glass — hazy with a decent head leaving nice lacing on the glass.
The smell was of white grape and stone fruit. No smell of hops at all.
As underwhelming as the smell was, the taste was even more of a disappointment. I have tried 393 different IPAs as of now, and rarely have I tasted one with less hop flavor than this one. There is a slight taste of stone fruit, but little else.
The feel was crisp and tingly and not bad.
Overall, I am not sure what to make of this beer. With a canning date so recent, I expected more flavor and aroma. When I purchased it, it was not refrigerated, but stored at room temperature in a store that I often frequent. I just feel that a beer this fresh should be better.
