Pours jet black in the glass with a mocha colored head. Notes of dark roast, palm sugar, English toffee, and black treacle. Medium body, dry finish. Approachable and balanced. Not all beer is gold, mate.

Pours a cola-brown cloud with a modest head.
Notes of dark chocolate on the nose, mocha, leather, vanilla, cranberry, warm spices
Taste does indeed follow the nose.
Medium-bodied, somewhat cloying but has a nice malty after-taste.

Can purchased and drank at Fattey Beer Company in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells quite roasty, but with a nice brown sugar and raisiny sweetness as well.
I love seeing a foreign export stout, as it’s just not a super common style anymore. This is quite roasty, and slightly charred in a pleasant way, but with toffee, brown sugar, and some plum and raisin. It’s well balanced, with nothing really dominating.
This is creamy, and pretty rich, and drinks bigger and bolder than the lower ABV would suggest. It’s clearly really well brewed.
I quite enjoyed this one.
