Collab with Strangebird | Brewed with traditional German Pilsner malt and a spritz of heirloom Munich malt. Decoction mashed and fermented extra cold with Bavarian lager yeast. Lightly hopped with Hallertau Mittelfrüh and Tettnanger, grown by the fine folks at Locher Hopfen in southwestern Germany. Malt-forward, impeccably clean, crisp and dry on the finish. Solid gold, baby.

On tap at Strangebird Brewing in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a golden clear yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This one smells grassy and hay-like, with some grapefruit and white pepper.
This is just super clean and dry in the best way. There’s soft grain, hay, and biscuity malt, with a touch of grassy, herbal, and slightly peppery hops – it’s all super well balanced and it just works.
This is dry, bitter, and very drinkable. It’s a little bit more hop forward than I expect helles to be, but it’s not necessarily a bad thing.
Strangebird is my favorite Rochester brewery, and I’ve always loved KCBC, so this was definitely going to be a hit for me.
