Pours a hazy gold with rich creamy white head that lasts and leaves nice lacing.
Aroma is nice funk with peach, apricot and grapefruit notes.
The taste follows the nose with loads of fruit. Green apples, apricot, and melon. Farmyard funk is subtle and lingers.
Overall a mellow but complex and drinkable beer.

(from my notes)
orangy-brown color, some carbonation, some head, kind of cloudy looking.
Almost no odor, but it might have been served too cold.
tart and smoky flavor, like drinking a campfire dipped in sour grapes
Good drinkabilty. not too complex to turn me off, but not simple enough to make one be enough.

Picked up a growler from Thunderhead and Im glad I did. Pours a light orange color that is very cloudy and noticeable golden hue when held to the light. Limited head but decent lacing.
The smell is sour with a tart kick. Very sweet aromas from the candi and the Belgium Pale. A nice yeast kick that isnt too overpowering but still nice.
The taste is good. A good blend of sweet malt and candi. The malt is complex enough but isnt overpowering or overly sweet. The yeast is interesting and gives a tart aftertaste. Reminds me of a granny apples but more of a beer taste. A tart aftertaste leaves a somewhat spicy flavor at the end.
The body is light but very smooth to drink. Overall this is a great beer.
