I want to like Good City because of their helping to revitalize a Milwaukee neighborhood, but have not given them good reviews on either brew I've had. Fan Favorite might be for some, but average for me.
Big Picture.... Maybe a large percentage of the 8000+ North American crafters are a lot like Good City: helping their neighborhood more than they are contributing to the quality of brewing. (The key test being how much you export out of your metro and your state.) Something to think about..... actually attributable to Jane Jacobs in "The Economy of Cities" and Adam Smith's "Wealth of Nations" 190 years before her. Economics class over. Finish you beer, Beginner.
