Our take on a classic Hefeweizen uses a special malt from Epiphany Maltsters in Durham, NC. North Carolina triticale, a rye/wheat hybrid, is substituted for traditional wheat for an interesting twist. Hints of banana, clove and vanilla weave through this refreshing, medium bodied ale. Another summer favorite.

I started out only drinking this. I really like it, but there are so many others to choose from, and I started broadening my horizons. I've fallen in love with some of the other styles that I thought I would never like and haven't gone back.
