On tap at brewery into plastic cup. Pours deep orange/amber color with a 1 finger dense off white head with good retention and spotty soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big brown bread, toast, biscuit, nuttiness, wood, peppercorn, pine, herbal, floral, grass. Medium pine herbal bitter finish. Medium body and carbonation, with balanced bready malts and sticky hop mouthfeel. Lingering resin dryness with no lingering hop astringency. Balanced rich Munich malts and noble hops. Perfectly clean lager flavors with no fruity yeast. Spot on style example.
